A silage system for introducing crop bales into a silo

The invention relates to a silage system, using a bale waggon (1), for introducing bales of crop, such as hay or grass, into a silo (6), which crop bales are substantially not wrapped up in plastic sheeting. The silage system comprises a lifting device (7) for placing crop bales in the silo, which lifting device cooperates with one or more bale waggons (1). The silage system furthermore comprises a conveyor (15) adapted to cooperate with the lifting device (7), by means of which conveyor crop bales for feeding animals can be transported from a silo (6) to a nearby cowshed (5).
