Method for displaying a picture from a graphic processor of the VGA-type on a television receiver

The procedure uses successive frames on the television made up of the odd (519 - 523) and then the even lines (2-4) from the VGA image. The synchronisation pulses of the VGA are displaced so that they are half of the line duration of a VGA image. The apparatus for image display has means for selection of odd and then even lines from a VGA graphics processor in successive television frames and for slowing down the synchronising pulses from the VGA image to one of the duration of the VGA lines.
