Organic solution of dialkyl peroxydicarbonate, process for its production, preparation of halogenated polymers using the same and resulting halogenated polymers

Preparation method for an organic solution of dialkyl peroxydicarbonate involves (i) reaction in water between alkyl halogeno-formate and inorganic peroxide; and (ii) separating out peroxydicarbonate by solvent extraction with water-immiscible organic solvent selected from usual chain regulators for halogenated polymers, particularly those for fluorinated polymers. Also claimed are: (1) organic solution of dialkyl peroxydicarbonate; (2) method of preparation for halogenated polymers involving intervention of dialkyl peroxydicarbonate; and (3) polymers obtained in (2).
