Reagent, kit and method for the determination of total proteins and globulines such as hemoglobin in biological fluids

The invention relates to a test kit for the determination of total protein and of globulins and of hemoglobin directly in a biological fluid sample, particularly in urine, wherein it comprises the necessary to determine, according to the invention reagent mixture in a solid formulation. The solid reagent contains per se conventional reagents for total protein precipitation and for visual assessment of the result of the precipitation reaction, as a further precipitating reagent copper sulfate. In addition, it contains at least one polysaccharide and optionally at least one monosaccharide. The solid formulation may for example be in the form of a granulate or a tablet. In addition to the test kit and the reagent mixture in a solid form, the invention relates to a method for the detection of total protein and of globulins as well as of hemoglobin in a biological fluid sample with the inventive reagent.
