Fluid supply for an hydrodynamic clutch and starting unit with an hydrodynamic coupling

The coupling has a pump wheel (2) and a turbine wheel (3), forming a torus-shaped working chamber (4). A pump wheel shell (6) connected to the pump wheel, axially encloses the turbine wheel and forms a first operating medium supply channel/chamber (9). A second similar channel/chamber (12) opens into the working chamber. Both channels can selectively be used as supply or drainage channel, or as a chamber leading to/fro the working chamber.
