The invention relates to a spliceosome protein that is associated with the U11/U12 snRNP complex of the U12-dependent spliceosome and that is specific of said spliceosome. Said protein and the DNA sequence encoding it are useful for the diagnostics of certain autoimmune diseases and of diseases that are caused by defects in the splicing apparatus.
