The electromagnetic relay has an iron core 1, an amateur 2, a coil 12 wound around the iron core 1, a yoke 3, a hinge spring 6, and a coupling structure. The yoke 3 is firmly fastened to the iron core 1 and has a coupling hole 3b and fitting portions 3a and 3d. The hinge spring 6 is used to rotatably support the armature 2 on the yoke 3 and the coupling structure is used to couple the hinge spring 6 to the yoke 3 in the electromagnetic relay. The hinge spring 6 has a tongue portion 6a and a dish portion 6b, and the yoke 3 has a coupling hole 3b and a coupling portion for engaging the tongue portion 6a and the dish portion 6b. It has fitting parts 3a and 3d. The hinge spring 6 is coupled to the yoke 3 by inserting and inserting the hinge spring 6 into the yoke 3.
