Interface Device with Vocoder and Selector Using Direct Memory Access and Method thereof

The present invention relates to an interface between a vocoder and a selector using a digital signal processor using a digital signal processing system (DSP) with a built-in direct memory access (DMA) in a code division multiple access method (CDMA). According to the interface apparatus and method between the vocoder and the selector, the interface is added by adding a start flag and an end flag transmitted between the selector and the vocoder in order to synchronize the frame, thereby increasing the reliability of the interface between the vocoder and the selector. In addition, the interface between the selector and the vocoder has an excellent effect of recovering to normal from the next frame even if the worst condition occurs.
