HIGH PERFORMANCE NON-BLOCKING PARALLEL STORAGE MANAGER FOR PARALLEL SOFTWARE EXECUTING ON COORDINATES

摘要

PURPOSE: A method for allocating a memory at a parallel process system is provided to prevent error, freely access to common system service such as data structure, and to easily release allocation of the memory. CONSTITUTION: The method for allocating the memory comprises the steps of demanding of the memory from a system memory by using a first thread, relating of a memory pool to a second thread by allocating the first memory pool which exceeds request to the first thread, requiring of the memory from the system memory by using the second thread, relating of the memory pool to the first thread by allocating a second memory pool exceeding the request to the second thread, and further requiring of the memory from the second thread by using the first thread and allocation of a second memory pool part to the first thread from the second thread, without making a request to the system memory. The first memory pool and the second memory pool respectively include a memory part marked for the first thread and the second thread by the system memory.
