Expression vectorpGP1 for a novel phytase and Pichia pastoris-pGP1 transformant producing recombinant phytase

PURPOSE: An expression vector for a phytase gene and a Pichia pastoris(pho1) transformant capable of producing a recombinant phytase using the same vector are provided, thereby mass-producing a stable recombinant phytase. CONSTITUTION: The recombinant plasmid vector pGP1 contains a phytase gene isolated from Pichia anomala and a portion of the phytase gene. A Pichia (pastoris(pho1))-pGP1 transformant (KCTC 18024P) is produced by preparing Pichia pastoris(pho1) incapable of expressing phosphatase; amplifying a phytase gene from the genomic DNA of Pichia anomala using a primer; preparing a recombinant plasmid pGP1; transforming Pichia pastoris(pho1) with the recombinant plasmid vector pGP1; and selecting transformants by cultivating Pichia pastoris(pho1)-pGP1 in a medium containing zeocin.
