SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR WEB BASED SHARING OF SEARCH ENGINE QUERIES

PURPOSE: A system and method for sharing query of a search engine based on the web is provided for a user to share best retrieval engine inquiry as for the Internet retrieval technology and the electronic commerce. CONSTITUTION: A user stores an inquiry in order to retrieve desired document or to detect that the inquiry is available and to present the inquiry within an integrated browser list window afterward. When the user wants to share the inquiry in a global data base, the user has to select an inquiry string for sharing the inquiry within the integrated browser list window. As this inquiry is shared by plural users, the inquiry is transferred to the hub processors(102a-102y) via a communication network(100). The user also can adds comments to the retrieval inquiries(103a-103x) before they are transferred to the hub processors. The hub processors compose and manage a storage of the selected and shared inquiry in cooperation with the global data base.
