PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing clogging of screen for a coal surge bin is provided to improve productivity and prevent consumption of coal and environmental pollution by opening the clogging after automatically sensing clogging of the screen for coal surge bin. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for preventing clogging of screen for a coal surge bin comprises an air distribution part(10) which is mounted on a frame at the upper part of a screen and consisted of an air distribution body(12) to the upper central part of which an air pipe(170) is connected, a piston body which is equipped with air inlet and outlet grooves, and left and right sides of which are connected to springs; a link each of end parts of which are rotationally connected to the lower center of the piston body and the air distribution body(12), wherein a protrusion is formed on the end part of the side of the air distribution body(12), and a sensing plate(47) which is rotationally mounted on the air distribution body(12) and positioned at the lower part of the air distribution body(12) by being connected to an arm through the medium of an extension bar(46); and a crush part(20) which is mounted on a frame at the upper part of the screen and consisted of cylinders(25,26) which are connected to first and second air lines(23,24,35,36) connected to air holes(21,21a,22,22a), and crush bodies(31,32) which are extended to the lower part by being connected to the pistons that are installed in the cylinders(25,26).
