PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling a variable charging current of a lithium-ion battery is provided to charge all lithium-ion batteries in the same time by automatically adjusting a charging current of the lithium-ion charging current. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for controlling a variable charging current of lithium-ion battery includes a battery pack(100) and a charging part(200). The battery pack(100) includes a microcontroller(11) that detects a charging state of the lithium-ion battery and outputs a current charging current and a proper charging current corresponding to the detected charging state. The charging part(200) converts a predetermine DC voltage(VCC) to a DC voltage of a proper level by using a constant current control signal(Ic), and outputs a charging voltage(S+,S-) of the battery pack(100). The constant current control signal(Ic) is generated by the proper charging current and the current charging current from the microcontroller(11) of the battery pack(100).
