Oil information system and method for collecting oil price information

PURPOSE: An oil information system and a method for collecting oil price information are provided to offer necessary oil data to an individual or a company by collecting exact data of oil including gas in real time. CONSTITUTION: The oil data system consists of an ARS(Audio Response System) data collecting server, a control server(121), an oil station data server(131) and a data processing server(141). The ARS data collecting server has plural terminals(111-1..111-n) including a cellular phone and a PCS(Personal Communication System) connected through a telephone or the Internet. A client using the terminal accesses the data collecting server to provide data. The data collecting server receives the real-time oil data transmitted through the Internet(NT) or directly from the terminals and transmits the data to the control server. The control server checks the error of the oil data and transmits the data to the oil station data server if error does not occur. Herein, the oil data include oil price, a company telephone number, a company registration number, a company address and a company owner. The oil station data server saves the oil data transmitted from the control server. The data processing server receives the oil data of the oil station data server through the control server, analyzes the data and saves the analyzed data on a database. The data processing server provides the analyzed data to a consumer.
