PURPOSE: Provided are the fibrinolytic protein derived from the toxin of Agkistridon halys brevicaudus, its cDNA and its manufacturing method. CONSTITUTION: Sal-C is isolated from the toxin of Agkistrodon halys brevicaudus by performing anion exchange resin, gel filtration and anion HPLC reversed phase chromatography sequentially and inhibits the aggregation of Platelets. Therefore, it can be used as an active ingredient of an antithrombotic agent. The cDNA of Sal-C is derived from the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 2 and consists of disintegrin-like domain of SEQ ID NO: 3 and C-terminal domain of SEQ ID NO: 4.
