PURPOSE: A method for analyzing the behavior and characteristic of liquid crystal and an analysis system using thereof are provided to guarantee the fast calculation and effective memory usage as well as depend on a finite element method for a 3-dimensional liquid crystal cell. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a data input module(200) receiving the information for a liquid crystal cell from a user, a structure generating module(300) to analyze a characteristic of liquid crystal cell, a mesh generating module(400) to execute a 3-dimensional finite element method to the generated structure, and a liquid crystal molecule arrangement analysis module(500) analyzing an arrangement of liquid crystal molecule. The data input module includes a mask data input module, a 3-dimensional structure input module, a materials information input module and an initial structure definition file generating module, and generates an initial structure definition file. The liquid crystal molecule arrangement analysis module includes an initial arrangement condition input module of liquid crystal molecule, a voltage application module, a time path analysis module, an electric potential and electric field dispersion analysis module and a liquid crystal molecule analysis module.
