PURPOSE: Provided are a composition for producing Buddhist articles, such as Buddhist statues and urns, by using amber, which is excellent in durability, impact-resistance, and the diffusion of light, and a process for producing the Buddhist articles by using the composition. CONSTITUTION: The composition for producing the Buddhist articles comprises 90-95wt% of unsaturated polyester, 2-5wt% of the amber, and 2-5wt% of pigments. And the process for producing the Buddhist articles comprises the steps of: preparing the composition; preparing a mixture solution by adding 2-5wt% of a catalyst to 95-98wt% of the composition; injecting the mixture solution into a silicone mold and removing vapors and then leaving the mixture solution for 15-20 minutes for solidifying and molding; polishing the articles detached from the silicone mold.
