Method for Controlling the Pressure of a Vacuumizer for Containers Storing Food Under Vacuum

PURPOSE: A method for controlling pressure in a vacuum device is provided to precisely control the pressure to a predetermined pressure according to information of stored food without using an expensive manometer. CONSTITUTION: The first reference pressure defined between a predetermined vacuum pressure and an atmospheric pressure and the second reference pressure defined between the predetermined vacuum pressure and the first reference pressure are provided. An aimed pressure is determined. Then, a device for creating the vacuum is operated. After that, the pressure in a vacuum chamber is measured. Time required for reaching the second reference pressure from the first reference pressure is measured. Then, extra time required for reaching the aimed pressure is determined based on the measured time. The vacuum device is further operated for a period of the extra time.
