PURPOSE: A method for receiver-centered gift offering is provided to satisfy both a gift receiver and a gift provider by offering a gift having regard to the gift receiver and to make a user maintain the personal relationship by easily managing events and commemoration days of acquaintances. CONSTITUTION: A system for receiver-centered gift offering includes a web server(10), a user terminal(20) to perform the electronic commerce by connecting to the web server, a payment server(30) to authenticate payment via the user terminal by connecting to the web server, and an affiliated company server(40) to offer additional services. The web server includes a web management unit(11) to mange the web server, an authentication unit(12) to authenticate a user connected to the web server, a communication unit(13) to perform communication of the user terminal, the payment server and the affiliated company server, a search unit(14) to search a database, a multimedia processing unit(15) to process a multimedia file in the web server, and a database to store the data of the web server.
