PURPOSE: A device for performing a forcible input setting and a turning on/off control is provided to forcibly output a specific external input in a remote place regardless of an on/off state, a broadcasting output state, or an external input/output state, without changing a TV structure, thereby sensing an operation state of a receiving module of the remote place to forcibly set the specific external input as a channel state. CONSTITUTION: An on/off input unit(101) inputs a control command for forcibly setting a specific input. A controller(103) builds a program for performing a forcible setting operation according to a control signal of the on/off input unit. A tone generator(105) generates and outputs a tone signal according to a tone generation signal output from the controller. A connection line(111) inputs the generated tone signal to an audio external input jack(R) of a TV. A connection line(113) connected to a monitor audio output jack(R) transmits the output tone signal. A tone input unit(107) detects an output component of the tone signal inputted through the connection line(113).
