PURPOSE: A method for managing dynamic states according to fault elements in an intelligent network system is provided to omit recompiling and restarting procedures by defining only the maximum size of a shared memory, initializing the size and location of a domain actually used as fault information in the shared memory when each application S/W starts, and enabling fault information to be initialized even during the starting of the each application S/W. CONSTITUTION: An application S/W fetches information to initialize a status management table from a data file in an initial state or during stating(S101-S105). While reading the data file from start to last(S107), the application S/W judges whether the present line is the last of the data file(S109). In case that the present line is the last of the data file, the application S/W indicates the previous line number as the last location of the status management table(S111) and determines the actual size of the actual size of the status management table to be located on a shared memory(S113). However, in case that the present line is not the last of the data file(S115), if a fault element matched with the name of the application S/W is shown(S117), the application S/W indicates it as a location on the status management table(S119).
