Lubricant for hot rolling of ferritic stainless steel and hot rolling method using the same lubricant

PURPOSE: A lubricant composition for hot-rolling ferritic stainless steel is provided to reduce baking between ferritic stainless steel and roll, thus decreasing sticking phenomenon and hot rolling method using the same are provided. CONSTITUTION: The lubricant composition for hot-rolling ferritic stainless steel comprises 5-30 wt.% of iron oxide powder and/or hydrated iron powder, 5-20 wt.% of loess powder with a particle size of less than 100m and a balance of water. In the hot rolling method using the lubricant composition, the present invention is characterized in that the lubricant composition is applied to both sides of steel sheet(1) between rough milling machine and finish milling machine; the lubricant composition is dried right before introducing to finish milling machine so that a cohesive film including iron oxide powder and/or hydrated iron powder is formed; and rolling the steel sheet in the temperature range of 110 to 220C.
