PURPOSE: A pledge service method is provided to lend money if a member visits an off-line pawnshop and pledges valuable commodities, to manage the member and related pledging information, and to sell or auction off foreclosed commodities. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of allowing a member to visit a center pawnshop office or an affiliated pawnshop while carrying commodities, appraising the commodities carried by the member, determining an amount of loans based on the appraisal result, lending money to the member according to the determined amount of loans, registering information on the member and continuing to manage loan information, giving back the pledged commodity to the member if the member paying back the loan to the center pawnshop office or the affiliated pawnshop, and processing the pledged commodities as foreclosed if the member has not paid back the loan until a designated day. The foreclosed commodities can be sold or auctioned off at an off-line pawnshop or a shopping mall or can be sold electronically over an internet shopping mall.
