PURPOSE: A device for measuring zero-dispersion wavelength of optical fiber with spectrum-divisional optical source and a method of the same are provided to measure a zero-dispersion wavelength simply through a four optical wave mixing effect by using a spectrum-divisional optical source which has a wide bandwidth. CONSTITUTION: A pump laser(210) permits a pumping laser into an EDF(Erbium Doped Fiber) in backward direction. An optical isolator(220) transports an optical signal generated from the pumping laser. A band pass filter(240) performs a spectral division of the optical signal. An optical amplifier(250) amplifies the optical signal. A band pass filter(260) removes an ASE(Amplified Spontaneous Emission) noise in amplifying the optical signal. An optical coupler(280) splits the optical signal. An optical spectrum analyzer(290) analyzes a spectrum of the optical signal.
