PURPOSE: A road surface slope measurement method and vehicle speed control system is provided to accurately measure the road surface slope by using the road surface information input from a camera, while maintaining vehicle speed at a target speed. CONSTITUTION: A road surface slope measurement method comprises a step(S100) of receiving a road surface image from a camera; a step(S120) of bird-view converting the road surface image; a step(S130) of extracting traffic lanes from the bird-view converted road surface image; a step(S140) of calculating slope of the extracted traffic lanes; a step(S150) of calculating slope of road surface by using the different of slopes of traffic lanes; a step(S160) of judging whether the steering angle input from the steering angle sensor falls within the preset steering angle range; and a step(S170) of outputting the road surface slope value calculated in the step(S150), if the steering angle falls within the preset range.
