40 -2 Novel nuclear proteins IMUP-2 upregulated by SV40 and cDNAs encoding the proteins

PURPOSE: Provided are novel nuclear proteins, IMUP-2, of which expression is upregulated by SV40, and cDNAs encoding them. In particular, IMP-2 nuclear protein can be expressed from imup-2 in a human fibroblast immortalized by SV40. CONSTITUTION: The expression of a novel transcriptome, imup-2, is elevated in an immortalized cell. The human nuclear protein, IMUP-2, is transcripted by imup-2 and contains amino acid sequence of the SEQ ID NO:4. Human cDNA containing nucelotide sequence of the SEQ ID NO:3 codes the human nuclear protein, IMUP-2.
