PURPOSE: An organic light emitting device using bis(10-hydroxybenzoquinolinato)beryllium and bis(2-methyl-8-hydroxyquinolinato)beryllium mixture as a light emitting material and its preparation method are provided, to allow it to be driven at a low voltage and to improve the luminous efficiency and the brightness at a low voltage. CONSTITUTION: The organic light emitting device comprises at least one active layer on a substrate, and a light emitting layer which is one among the active layers comprises bis(10-hydroxybenzoquinolinato)beryllium and bis(2-methyl-8-hydroxyquinolinato)beryllium in the mass ratio of 1:5 to 5:1. Preferably the mass ratio is 3:1. The light emitting layer also acts as an electron transfer layer. The light emitting layer is prepared by depositing bis(10-hydroxybenzoquinolinato)beryllium and bis(2-methyl-8-hydroxyquinolinato)beryllium by organic molecular deposition.
