PURPOSE: A method and a system for the multimedia video education based on the network are provided to transfer promptly the high capacity data while minimizing the load of a server by using every client as host for the data transfer, to perform more actual education by displaying a textbook or a blackboard on a web browser, and to select the desired class time and teacher through the internet. CONSTITUTION: Many hosts(100-100n) access a web server(200), take the registration procedures by entering the personal information, and download and install an education program to the own host. The web server stores and manages the personal information through a DB(210). Users who want to take a lecture select the desired class time and teacher and apply for the class. The host for a lecturer(100) includes a video camera(111), which shows the face of the lecturer, the textbook, or the writing on the blackboard, key input units(112) for inputting the text, audio input/output units(113) for transferring the sound, and a pen mouse(114) for writing the lecture contents on the blackboard. Also, the user host(100a-100n) takes a lecture through the video camera, key input units, and audio input/output units.
