PURPOSE: A portable audio player having a Bluetooth communication function, and signal processing method for portable telephone communication by using the same are provided to automatically recognize an incoming call of the cellular phone having a Bluetooth communication function even during playback of the audio player, using an earphone and a microphone electrically connected to the portable audio player, and to automatically switch to a remote speech mode. CONSTITUTION: Even while an audio player plays a music file stored in a memory, a communication link is formed between a cellular phone and the audio player(S10,S12). When a call is received to the cellular phone(S14), a controller controls a sound player to suspend a playing operation and stores information on the suspended playing position on a memory(S16). The controller provides an incoming alarm sound signal to a sound input and output unit to output an incoming alarm sound through an earphone(S18). A user recognizes the call and presses a speech start switch(S20). Voice signals of the user and the other party are transceived between a first and second Bluetooth communication modules in local wireless communication(S22). When the speech is ended(S24), the controller controls the memory and the sound player to restart the playing operation from the suspended position referring to the information stored in the memory(S26).
