PAN Fabrication Methods of Spinning Solution for Conductive Polyacrylonitrile PAN Fibers using Conducting Polymer

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a spinning solution of conductive polyacrylonitrile fiber using conducting polymer is provided which is characterized by being possible to use an existing DMF recovering process intactly, not needing a special additive process, and being possible to produce the conductive PAN fiber having high value added. CONSTITUTION: The spinning solution of the conductive polyacrylonitrile fiber is obtained by a process containing the steps of: adding base(NH4OH, NaOH, NH3 gas and so on) to N,N-dimethylformamide(DMF) to manufacture a solvent; blending sulfonated polyaniline(SPAN) and polyacrylonitrile(PAN) in a composing ratio of 0.01:99.99 - 99.99:0.01, followed by mixing with the solvent; and then spinning from a spinning machine to a coagulating bath. The coagulating bath is filled with an acidic aqueous solution or an acidic organic solvent. The DMF-base solvent is produced on 0-15% of moisture content.
