PURPOSE: Provided is a lithium polymer secondary battery having excellent charge/discharge property, which is produced by using a crosslinked gel phase polymer electrolyte. CONSTITUTION: The lithium polymer secondary battery is produced by a process comprising the steps of: coating a polyolefin-based fine porous separation membrane by impregnating the separation membrane into a coating solution comprising a linear polymer, an inorganic material, and an organic solvent at a temperature of 20-70deg.C, wherein the polyolefin-based fine porous separation membrane is a thin membrane of polyethylene, polypropylene, polyimide, or polysulfone; impregnating the coated separation membrane into a crosslinking solution comprising a crosslinking agent, a heat initiator, a comonomer, and a liquid electrolyte for 5-10 hours; laminating a cathode on one side of the separation membrane and an anode on the other side and then heat-crosslinking at a temperature of 80-90deg.C for 2-3 hours.
