METHOD FOR DETECTING FAULT OF PAVEMENT ON BRIDGE USING INFRARED PICTURE CAPTURING

PURPOSE: A method for detecting fault of pavement on a bridge is provided to achieve improved accuracy of detection, while allowing for data collection and creation of database. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a first step(S10,S20) of creating a database by using the signal output from an infrared camera; a second step(S30,S40) of inputting specification of bridge to a CAD system format, calculating the outer appearance of the bridge and constructing outer shape of the upper plate of the bridge; a third step(S50,S60,S70) of adjusting a scale to fit to the outer appearance of the upper plate of the bridge, marking faults by using a cursor, and calculating area of the marked part; a fourth step(S80) of synthesizing the infrared picture to the upper plate of the bridge; and a fifth step(S90) of calculating the total area of the bridge and outputting ratio of the fault part.
