PURPOSE: Provided is a method for treating wastewater using back-washable microfiltration membrane and reverse osmosis system, which is characterized in that back-washable microfiltration membrane is used instead of conventional nano filtration. CONSTITUTION: According to the method, wastewater is pretreated by sand or activated carbon. Then, wastewater is treated by a back-washable micro membrane to remove suspended solids. Continuously, wastewater is treated by a reverse osmosis system for removing dissolved ions. The back-washable micro membrane is hollow fiber membrane being 0.01 μm of pore size, and back-washed by air and water.
