The present invention solves the address matching between ATM devices and a plurality of physical devices that meet the Utopia level 2 of the ATM forum, and more particularly, the ATM transmission / reception apparatus using the utopia level-2 scheme, and thus addresses the addresses of physical devices. The present invention relates to an ATM transmission / reception device using a Utopia level-2 method that allows up to 31 physical ports to be connected regardless of the present invention. According to the present invention, ATM processing capacity is satisfied by satisfying Utopia level-2. It has the outstanding effect of maximizing productivity and system operation efficiency.
