METHOD FOR PERFORMING PRIMARY PLASTIC REPAIR OF THE MAMMARY GLAND AFTER ITS SUBTOTAL RADICAL RESECTION

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting out drop-shaped cellulocutaneous flap on the lateral surface of the chest wall corresponding in size to skin defect in one block with a broadest back muscle portion which excess corresponds to flap width. Skin with fat are separated from the broadest muscle of the back to a required level outside of the lateral incision being the upper boundary of the cut out flap in the dorsal direction. The muscle is transected. The flap is brought upwards. Wound on the chest wall is sutured layer-by-layer. The residual portion of the broadest back muscle is introduced under the flap, and its inferior edge is sutured to the lateral edge of the musculus pectoralis minor. Relaxation sutures are put in between its edge and the lateral edge of the musculus pectoralis major. Endoprosthesis is introduced into the prepared muscular bed. The sutures are tied. The transferred flap is attached to the edges of the mammary gland skin defect. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in restoring shape and volume of the mammary gland. 5 dwg
