FIELD: dispersion, emulsifying and other kinds of fluid media treatment. SUBSTANCE: method includes formation of flow of fluid medium in the form of N flat jets, each changed three times in shape and area of cross-sections; introduction of formed flat jets with excited hydrodynamic pulsations into zone of treatment in which N flexible obstacles are cantilevered to provide for collision of each jet with free end of respective obstacles, with subsequent formation in each point of fluid medium of parametric resonance vibrations acting on medium ingredients; simultaneous increase of amplitude of vibration of each flexible obstacle under conditions of resonance to extend cavitation zone through entire treatment zone and withdrawal of treated fluid medium from treatment zone. Device for method embodiment has a body with inlet hole, diaphragm with N inlet nozzles, package of flexible parallel plates in number corresponding to that of nozzles. Each nozzle consists of three parts: conically convergent, cylindrical and slotted ones. Each obstacle plate free end has frontal edge formed by two-sided bevels and located with eccentrically with respect to nozzle axis. EFFECT: higher efficiency of generation of vibrations of fluid media, extended cavitation zone, higher productivity of device, and stable in time dispersions, suspensions, and other fluid media suitable for prolonged storage without impairing the properties attained in treatment. 11 cl, 3 dwg
