METHOD OF AND DEVICE FOR INCREASING POWER OUTPUT OF GAS TURBINE BY WET COMPRESSION

FIELD: gas turbines. SUBSTANCE: according to method, drops of liquid chosen from alcohols, water and their mixtures are added to working medium of compressor containing air. Number of indicated drops is sufficient to provide working medium getting into intake hole of compressor which contains at least three quarters of percent of water in form of admixture to fully wet air. Liquid is added to flow in point higher than compressor intake hole. Liquid is delivered during period of time exceeding that required for periodical cleaning of inner parts from deposited particles by means of which temperature rise in working medium caused by compression is reduced.
