FIELD: shipbuilding; designing bulwark in area of adapter knee of ship's superstructure. SUBSTANCE: above-deck marine structure has adapter knee of superstructure, sheer strake and bulwark which includes plate, rails and buttresses secured to deck stringer. Connected bulwark is shifted from sheer strake to longitudinal axis of ship at overlap and clearance relative to plane of adapter knees of superstructures. Plane of adapter knees of superstructures and plate of bulwark are fastened by strainers, at least two strainers, at overlapping section. It is preferable to make strainers in form of metal plates. Plates located vertically in clearance between adapter knees of superstructures and bulwark and their vertical edges are rigidly secured to planes of adapter knees if superstructures and plate of bulwark. EFFECT: avoidance of cracks at ends of bulwark; facilitated manufacture and assemble.
