METHOD FOR CULTIVATING TRELLIS-DWARF PLANT GARDEN

FIELD: agriculture, in particular, landscape gardening. SUBSTANCE: method involves using one-year seedlings on semidwarf rootstock and planting them in pairs in single planting ditch; performing postplanting cutting before bud awakening; providing stem-building after awakening; cutting off formed buds from upper part while leaving two strong 30-40 cm long buds; at the second half of summer, leaving one strong bud and training it to obtain single-trunk crown with short branches; directing upper part of trunk at an angle of 45-50 deg in horizontal plane toward similar trunks in adjacent rows of trees and joining them with their tops. Method allows fruit-bearing period to come much earlier due to reduced strength of accretion because of altered polarity and increased paths of supplying nutritive substances to apical points.
