FIELD: analytical chemistry. SUBSTANCE: sample of fluid is mixed up with solvent to determine content of metal impurity in organic fluid. Water-alcohol solution added to sample in proportion securing preparation of homogeneous solution is used as solvent. Mixtures of organic fluid with water-alcohol solution carrying dosed quantities of determined elements in the form of aqueous solutions of inorganic salts are utilized in the capacity of comparison samples. Plasma is formed with the help of capacitive superhigh-frequency discharge in air atmosphere. EFFECT: markedly simplified procedure of analysis, provision for analysis of highly volatile liquids and for preparation of comparison samples for any organic fluid. 2 cl
