FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out conjunctiva cut in inferoexterior quadrant. The inferior direct muscle is caught with hook. The inferior oblique muscle is caught with Y-shaped hook near the lateral edge of the inferior direct muscle. The exterior direct muscle is shifted aside with a spatula. The inferior oblique muscle is separated from sclera under visual control without preliminary suturing it. The inferior oblique muscle contracts and enters the operation space. The muscle is sutured in the wound field in overhanging state and attached to sclera near the lateral edge of the inferior direct muscle with two interrupted sutures. EFFECT: simplified surgical intervention process; avoided dangerous complications.
