FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves making mini-cut not longer than 5 cm in frontal peritoneum wall including cut of anterior sheet of parietal peritoneum. Ring-shaped wound dilator with fixing members is set. Posterior sheet of parietal peritoneum is opened and the fixing members are moved into depth. The duodenum is moved aside to the left holding it in required position by means of fixing members. The inferior vena cava is mobilized and sutured with mechanical suture. Clamps are arranged along the inferior vena cava axis. EFFECT: reduced number of postoperative thromboses. 2 tbl
