FIELD: manufacture of rocket engine nozzles. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of forming intermediate blanks of sheet metal by welding set of members in the form of flat different-thickness strips; welding said members along their straight edges for forming plate of metallic sheet with width of plate corresponding to length of article or nozzle in such a way that thickness of material is stepwise lowered from one plate to another; cutting plate of metallic sheet for forming intermediate blank of nozzle in the form of ring part; then bending it relative to symmetry axis of nozzle; welding intermediate blanks along their adjacent straight and non-parallel sides; if it is necessary finishing final blank by working. EFFECT: simplified production process, significantly lowered losses of material. 1 dwg
