Motor vehicle head-light has an incandescent light with filaments which can be independently operated. The incandescent light (2) is designed with a third filament (12) and a shrouding (9) for the second (8) and third (12) filaments, in which the shrouding is arranged relative to these two filaments (8,12) so that the latter radiate light in different angular ranges.
