The plug adapter (10) is inserted between a non-standard plug-in module (9) and a common rear wiring board and provides a 1:1 transfer ratio between the plug-in module and the rear wiring board plug-in connector (4), with a spacer between the plug-fit connections at its opposite ends of sufficient length for preventing contact between the plug-in module and the rear wiring board. An Independent claim for a modular electrical apparatus system is also included.
