A plant arrangement comprises a base containing a plant core vessel having an outer shaft; and a plant/filter charge arranged in the core vessel. The base and the core vessel are formed as one piece. Air circulating through-holes are provided in the core vessel and lead to the base. The arrangement also has an air selector, noise damping units, filler made from a mixture of clay granules and activated charcoal, water supply devices and control devices.
