The arrangement has several, adjacent tyre-shaped devices that surround and contact the outer shape of the limb, to vary the height of the sections at determined intervals. Preferably, the tyres are operated mechanically or pneumatically to vary the shape of the limb. The intervals of shape variation are selected so that a massage-like effect is exerted on the muscles or the blood flow is enhanced.
