Fuel distillation for operating internal combustion engine during cold starting involves using thermoelectric pump with Peltier elements for single- or multiple-stage distillative fractionating
The method involves using a thermoelectric pump with Peltier elements forming a hollow cylinder for single- or multiple-stage distillative fractionating of fuel for operating an internal combustion engine during cold starting. At least one fuel line supplies an evaporation chamber with fuel. Outlets for easily and less easily evaporated condensate are arranged in the condensation and evaporation chamber housing floors respectively. The method involves using a thermoelectric pump consisting of Peltier elements (2) for single- or multiple-stage distillative fractionating of fuel for operating an internal combustion engine during the cold starting phase. The Peltier elements form a hollow cylinder. At least one fuel line supplies an evaporation chamber (5) with fuel. At least one outlet for easily evaporated condensate is arranged in the condensation chamber (6) housing floor and an outlet for less easily evaporated condensate is arranged in the evaporator chamber housing floor.
