Heating device comprises a ceramic-filled polymer layer (3) arranged between a surface (2) of the appliance to be heated and an electrically conducting heating foil (1). Preferred Features: The heating foil is covered on the side facing away from the polymer layer by an insulating molded body. The polymer layer has a thickness of 70-150 microns and the heating foil is an iron-chromium-aluminum alloy. The insulating molded body is made from vermiculite.
