Cored wire consists of a metal casing and a filling made from natural or synthetic core sand and/or core powder with or without binders for mapping straight or bent bores in cast parts with complete melting of the metal casing in the melt. Independent claims are also included for: (a) a core bearing for cored wire; and (b) a process for producing hollow chambers in cast parts using the cored wire.
